I've looking at buying a rear 3 point hitch blade. Aiming at a blade such as the Woods HBL84-2 however I've been told it is discontinued. Tufline GB4-84 and Bush Hog 70-07 are also on my mind but I can't find a supplier in the area. A local dealer has given me a decent quote on a Land Pride RS3784 which has all the feature I want however it is on the heavier side at 635 lbs. and is rated for 35 to 80 HP. I realise that the 135 can raise heavier, however is the RS3784 too much for the MF 135? Does anybody have experience with such a blade?

Don't know what your buying philosophy is, but you might try calling J.S. Woodhouse in Fairfield, Maine. That is about 2+40 from St. Stephen.
207-873-3288.

They are a dealer for King Kutter rear blades.
Sure, you would have to pay HST at the border, but it could be a way to save money, even with the HORRIBLE CAD-USD exchange.

I have a new KK 84" blade, and it is decent (not outstanding, but decent).
That said, I also have a new 72" Everything Attachments "Deluxe Scrape Blade"...and it is truly outstanding!
I am going to sell my KK blade in the Spring, when I get back to Mass. from Florida.
Sadly, I sold my place in Nova Scotia back in October.
I could have sold you my KK blade, and brought it as far as the ferry dock in St. John, for a very cheap price (I currently have 3 blades).

My KK 84" blade can be offset, but it is a PITA to do it.
My Everything Attachments 72" Deluxe Scrape Blade is as easy as pie to offset.
I love the thing!

I did look at the King Kutter, as you said offset is a PITB. The Everything Attachment Deluxe 6 way blade has also been on my radar, shipping locally is only $150 USD but brokerage fee is unknown and could make it pricier than the Land Pride RS3784. If I can get a confirmed brokerage fee I may consider the Deluxe blade.

I don't know what your intended use for the blade is but if the purpose is for snow I think you will be better served with a 6' blade on a 135. Or another way of saying it is my dad had a 135 and we had a 6' blade. Even with tires filled in our milder winters it never really had the traction to push snow very well in my opinion, I can't think a 7' blade will do any better. For grading it may work, but not for any grading of a bigger mass of gravel or loose dirt.

The blade is for multiple use, maintaining my wood road and ditches, spreading gavel/dirt and moving light snowfall accumulation. A snow blower is also on the list but that will probably what till next fall. A friend down the road has a MF 35 with filled tires and a set of chain and they clean their camp road with a 68 inch blade. The road is approximately 1 mile long. I guess it's all about knowing your limits and respecting it. Since the tractor is about 74 inches wide a 6 foot blade would not clean my width. I can always cut a 7 foot blade, harder to go the other way.
