Hi guys i'm new on here, my dad hasbeen working / restoring a 1967 MF 135, the wiring in the tractor is a real mess, it had a home made loom in it, we have removed it and bought a after market loom, but we have no idea were the wire goes, does any one have a wiring diagram for such a machine, also the loom looks to us like its for a dynmo on ot, were as this MF had an altenator on it when we bought it. Please please help us. We're based in Northern Ireland hello to everyone.

I know the service manuals have a wire diagram in them.. you don't have access to one of those do you?

As for the differenc ein wireing a genny vs an alternator.. depends on if it is a 1 or 3 wire alt.. or something else.

most of the time you can just cap off the wires that were originally used for the external voltage regulator, and just wire the alt up if it is a 1-wire.. or if 3 wire.. use the 'extra' vreg wires to make the other connections.
