Mowing MF 1428v MF 2005 Rotary Mower vs. Bush Hog 285

I am purchasing a new MF 1428v, but don't know which bush hog to get. Will be cutting down rough brush and briars. Probably will hit some small rocks (need stump jumper I guess...). Getting manual transmission. Any suggestions for a bush hog? /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Whichever one has the best warranty. If both are the same. Check the thickness of the deck material, and the blades.
Either one will probably be fine.
