My neighbors 150 needs a right side tie rod (drag link end). Does anybody have a part number or know where I can look one up? He works 7/12s and doesn't have time to drive to the local dealer (45 min) so if I could get a part number he will likely just have one shipped. If anybody has a good online parts source please let me know. He doesn't have the serial number and the tractor is at his land quite a ways away from here.

Thanks.

I replaced all 4 components of the tie rod(s) on my 150 just last summer. I have a 150 parts manual.

The 150 uses a different tie rod than any other 100 series. 135 are TOTALLY different. 165/175 outer ends are longer. The aftermarket tie rods available fit 135, 165, 175/180, but I couldn't find 'em for the 150. I got mine at AGCO/MF dealer. Ended up being about same $$$ as aftermarket parts for the other models.

Aftermarket tie rod ends you'll commonly find on EBAY are TOTALLY wrong. They're for IMT/SAME MF knock-offs (made in Turkey) Wrong diameter, wrong length.

Call the dealer, place order (w/ part#'s I'll supply) pay w/ credit card over the phone, and have them UPS'ed to his doorstep. I do that quite a bit. Good dealers are glad to oblidge.

Parts are as follows;

Right side

Inner portion is 192 863 M1 (end assy)
Outer portion is 192 865 M1 (Rod assy)

Left side

Inner portion is 192 864 M1 (Tube assy)
Outer portion is 192 866 M1 (Rod assy)

Thanks a bunch FWJ. I did some searching earlier and the only thing I kept coming up with was ones that fit the 135... and hahaha... yeah... I was sitting there thinking... they are probably the same as the 150! Glad I posted. I'm just trying to help him out and me and him both appreciate your help.

Thanks again.

Thanks FWJ. I do want to make sure I'm on the same page though. I only briefly looked at it last week. The part that failed is where the right hand side tie rod goes into the spindle... I assume that is the "rod assy", outer most portion of the setup, 192 865 M1? You posted "Inner portion is 192 863 M1 (end assy)" which could also sound like the outer part by it being called the end assembly. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks again.

Both sides are made up of 2 pieces for adjustability. (actually more than 2 counting the clamps/bolts/ect) If you're refering ONLY to the piece that attaches directly to the spindle, that IS the 192 865 M1 .

The "inner" part is a hollow tube affair, the "outer" is a solid rod that fits inside that tube.

Clear as mud now?

If there's any question, I could fax you a copy of the parts schematic (would have to be tomorrow) or snap a picture of MY tie rod and point out each part.

But again, it sounds like you only need 192 865 M1. Should list somewhere around $70 (+ or -)

Should he not want to spend that much, I have a slightly worn end that he can HAVE for the UPS charge of getting it there. It's got a little wear, but not so much as to be a problem. I'm just an obsessive/compulsive with getting my 150 "new" again.

I understand... I just wanted to make sure. No doubt it is the 192 865 M1.

Thank you very much. I'm gonna pass along the part number to him today and he can go from there. If he would like to take you up on that offer I will PM you.
