Tractor
N/A
I purchased my first tractor a couple weeks ago. It is a 2010 1532 hydrostatic with loader (tooth bar added) and dual rear remotes. It had 64.5 hours on it.

I had previously looked at the LS G3033, Yanmar/ Cub Cadet, Kubota, New Holland and Deere. When I called our local MF dealer to check the price on a new 1532, the price was too much for my blood. On a whim, I decided to take the 40 minute ride to the shop anyway. I looked at the 1529 and 1533. They did not have a 32 on the lot but did know someone trying to sell a 32. The guy took it to the dealer for them to go over and the deal was done.

I have only had it a short time, but WOW!! This compact tractor has some power. I did make the mistake of letting the wife drive it. When I get off to load the bucket (doing a lot of clean up), she jumps on!!

Any advice that you can give a proud new owner would be appreciated. I look forward to getting to know ya'll.

Welcome aboard. Letting you wife drive it was not a mistake. That could make it easier for you to buy more implements... :)

Keep the fuel tank full for her. and kick back and relax, let her do the dirty work. the cold beer taste better when you're watching someone else doing something, thats entertaining.

Nice tractor and congrats. The only thing I can tell you is dont let it run out of fuel. Open the hood and you will see why, lol. it is tight in there.

Congrats and welcome.

I started my wife off with a 135, took her with me for the first time last weekend to try a few different makes/models, she's starting to feel the love of power steering, front end loaders and even the heat in a cab, although I'm thinking I may live to regret letting her try a cab model................ Having a wife interested in tractors can only be a good thing IMHO.

Look forward to your pics.

A cab is not a regret!
