MF 1600 Series - What neede for radio install??

/ MF 1600 Series - What neede for radio install?? #11
Those look like older Ford radio plugs.

Can't be certain though.

Also, the orange plug is the connector for the speakers. Most speaker wires are paired (green - green w/black tracer). All the wires with the black tracer are the gound wires for the speakers.

Hope this helps.

I never saw a plug for an antenna on my cab, so I bought one of those flat antenna's that stick to a windshield. I plugged it in to the stereo and just stuffed it up between the roof and the headlinner. Gets fine reception that way.

On the left pillar of the tractor, standing outside, you will see a little round plug. That is where the antenna sits.

On the inside of the left pillar, pull out the speed clips, and take the fuse panel cover off. Below the nut in the pic, is where the plug is. Pop it out, and that is where the antenna goes.

If you have a garage to park it in, take the screws out, and fold the roof back, as it is hinged, will make it easier to run the antenna. I will have to look in my shop manual for you, as to what screws come out.

Cant remember exactly but it wasn't more than 20 or 30 bucks. Any place that sells car stereos has them.
