Hi All,
So, I've been messing around with a new valve to give some additional hydraulic control capability to my 165. There's another previous thread about it.
Anyway, it's come to my attention, through this project, that it's not quite the most ideal way to run external services with the main hydraulic pump used for the 3pt.
I have a 1965, 165 model with a multi-power transmission. And what's not entirely clear to me is if this multi-power clutch is run by a seperate aux pump?
And, if that's the case, is this the same aux pump that is installed for adding external hydraulic services, with the ports typically installed on the plate where the PTO engage lever is at?
And finally, if that is true, can this aux pump be plumbed to feed both the multi-power clutch and the external port at the same?
I didn't want to crack the tractor open just to see, was hoping someone already has crossed this bridge.
Thanks for the help!
Dan
