MF 1725E 50 Hour Service Oil/Hydraulic Fluid Questions

I'm about ready to roll over 50 hours on my MF GC 1725 and I'm curious as to what you all would recommend with respect to the engine oil/hydraulic oil.

This is my first tractor so I'm new to the tractor maintenance world. I've done a little research and it seems as though many recommend switching to full synthetic Amsoil for both the engine oil as well as the hydraulic oil.

I'd like to hear what your recommendations would be. The filters are pretty self explanatory - I'm just going to keep it simple and stick with the ACGO filters that you can purchase in a pack that includes all the filters, o rings, etc.

I have not changed oil in my new tractor yet, but did use Amsoil in my last tractor and Diesel zero turn. I like it.

For engine any good quality "diesel" rate motor oil..... MF recommends Permatrans, but I believe any good quality hydraulic fluid (mainly consistency of 10w30 motor oil with special additives for hydraulic use).... Funny thing is I found article (have to find it again) where MF recommend using their very expensive Permatrans in about 40 different tractor of other manufactures.... Sort of tells me most quality hydraulic fluid it pretty much same...

One of the real cost savers is if you can find after market fuel and hydraulic fluid and engine oil filter that are "generic" and the same quality at about 1/2 the price of MF part numbered product...

Dealer nicked me $450 for filters and oils and labor for my 50 hour, don't think he is going to get to me again,,,, I went this way because If the was a problem with first oil change dealer would be there, but probably not again...
