MF 1742 PTO shaft bearing

I had just baled an entire hat field with an inline baler. Was finishing the last few feet,literaly, and the PTO control jumped out of gear. When I put it back in gear and started the baler I got a loud kind of whiny grinding sound traced to the PTO shaft itself.

Any information and guidance on getting into this would be appreciated. Right now I'm sitting on one field out of five completed.
