I have a 2016 Massey Ferguson Model 1754 with four wheel drive that has an aggravating issue. The front axle unit has a vent on top of the casing that leaks the hydraulic oil out if it is parked with the vent to the downhill side. The owners manual states that the oil level should be 1/2 of the way up on the axle. This axle is very difficult to see the level properly.

I have a New Holland model 1920 that the front axle is not vented, hence no leaks.

Has anyone esle had this issue ?

My guess is that there is too much oil in the axle housing. The top of the vent is way higher than the middle of the axle housing so the tractor would have to be on an extreme side slope for the oil to leak out. Try parking the tractor on a FLAT surface and using a flashlight to look into the fill hole. If you cant see the axle shaft then the oil is too high.
