Fingers crossed someone can help
I was able to find what appears to be the correct diagram on Agco, under 202 workbull forklift
Oddly, the P/N for the Hydraulic filter cross references to a Wix 51010, which is the same P/N I came up with searching for the engine oil filter.
Still wondering if anyone knows whether or not I will still need the metal strainer in addition to the new style filter.
I'm really confused how the filter is working here. I'm attaching a picture.. the strainer has a different inner diameter and sits lower than the filter. The step below where the filter sits has large holes all the way around and is only covered by the strainer. The smaller shaft the filter sits on has smaller holes. So I guess what I dont understand is how the filter is working here, if the machine is sucking through the tube, wouldn't is just suck oil through the larger holes that are only covered by the strainer, since the filter would cause a restriction?
strainer sits on the red line, filter on blue
