Hello Folks

New here and I have my first tractor question. I just replaced the external pump and shaft on my 240/232 FEL after the splines ate themselves and it looks like there was a reason for it. I think the crankshaft pulley adapter bushings are probably shot as the adapter moves up and down and has significant play in it. How is this adapter/bushing assembly replaced? It doesn't look like there is much room for the bolts holding the adapter to back out of the crankshaft pulley. Does the front of the tractor need to come off? How big a job is moving the axle assembly and to access the adapter?
