MF 243 locked in gear

Tractor is on an incline and I can get the range selector to move but the gear selector is stuck and cannot be moved. The clutch system had a total rebuild less than a year ago however it too took three trips back and forth to the dealer to get it fixed properly.. any ideas on the cause or how I might move the tractor since it is not in a location that is accessible by a fealer vehicle for return and repair

Had this happen on my old MF203. The gear selector had jumped out of the slot internally. Pulled it out and repositioned it fixed it

Had similar thing happen on my MF135 a couple of times, may Or may not be your problem.

When in gear like mowing and changing high to low ranges and if you lift the range selector handle while shifting it can jam the gears.
Did what the dealer told me. Between the range selector and the seat remove a large -2” threaded fill plug. Your can see the gears on the rails. Use a broom stick to lever the gear in the range selector fork back or forward. Doesn’t take much force once you figure it out. Flashlight will help.
Seems to do it when you’re tight spot, like steep hillside when you’re out of normal sitting position.
Once you do it a couple of times you learn not to pull up on the lever when shifting. Seems like it happened going high to low range. That experience was over 30-40 years ago.
