Me again. If you've seen my other posts I am a new owner of 3+ acres of both thick woods & open pasture with much of it having a decent slope. I have looked at a TO35, 135, 165 (maybe a tad large), etc and that size seems to suit me just fine (I grew up on a farm and loved our little 135 we had back then but operated 100hp+ tractors then too). I'll basically be bush hogging, gardening, and may get a loader in the future to move around some large rocks on the property.
Well now I'm asking about a 245 with 1700hrs on it - $5500. The tractor is one of the nicest ones I've looked at yet.
My price range seems to be suffering from scope creep - and not the downward kind either! My searching has led me to the conclusion that the price is fair, but how does that price compare to what you guys are seeing out there? My searching also leads me to believe this is a good model tractor (basically a more powerful but otherwise direct replacement for my beloved 135). Is that a fair assessment as well?
