Hi,
first time poster here. I have had a MF 30E industrial machine for a good few months now and checking bits and pieces as time allow. The tractor works well but... there seem to be quite a few variants on this model and mine appears to have a clutch pedal on the left hand side that is not attached to anything apart from an neutral safety switch. Before I looked at this I was religiously pressing the pedal when I was trying to engage any gear (not when I was using the power shuttle forward and reverse). I can change gear, although it can be quite tight at times and I have the knuckle scars to prove this when engaging 1st. Does anyone know if this is a standard setup? Am I missing something? I am assuming that this is a stupid question but any info would be appreciated..
many thanks
Alan
