Great discussion on tire type. I just wanted to add my 2 cents about chains making holes quickly. While I have no need for them on my tractor, I used a set on my old 2.5 ton dump truck with duals in the rear. In a wet area they chewed down to the axle housing on the first pass! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
