I have just got a 1963 MF 35 from my grandfather and I'm wondering what people think is the best way to drain the fuel tank?

If its a gasser, with the shutoff valve closed, remove the fuel line fitting at the carb and slip a small piece of hose over the end, place the hose end in a suitable container and open the shutoff valve. If it's a diesel do the same with the line that goes to the fuel filter.
