MF 4270 transmission troubles

G'day all I have a MF 4270 in at work at the moment with the 24x24 shuttle shift trans with an intermittent fault and was wondering if anyone out there has had experience with these.

The problem is that the tractor will not drive sometimes. Sometimes it is fine others no go at all, I believe it to be in the shuttle shift side of the trans because sometimes when you turn the ign on the warning light on the dash will come on faintly and if it does this it will not drive, if it comes on brightly then goes out it will go into gear no probs, the other day the owner was driving down the road when it just stopped going shuttle lever was in fwd but no motion and no fault codes came up on the dash ( won't throw a fault code at all )

I was wondering if anyone can tell me the locations of the grounds for the transmission as I want to start by cleaning them all up and making sure they are nice and snug.

I do not want to just throw bits at this in the hope of fixing it, due to the no fault codes I am leaning to it being in the trans controller but would like to keep that as a last option

We have the same problem with our 4270 curious what ended up being the issue? What was done to fix it?

I have a MF4200 which has gradually developed the same problem, it's now at rest in the paddock having stopped moving. Won't move in fwd or reverse. Warning lights come on for Transmission Oil Pressure and also Power Shuttle. Oil level has been a bit low but been replenished, still no go.
What was the cure for your 4270?
