I am replacing both inner and outer seals on my MF50, aprox 1957 vintage.
It appears to me that the inner seal keeps the oil from the bearing, so can anyone tell me if the axel bearing is lubricated by packing with grease?
That is all that makes sense to me, as the packed grease is held in by both the inner and outer seals.
