Good Morning from France.
MF 6180 1996 has been completely reliable until this summer. A couple of months ago whilst cutting grass it just got slower and sloweralmost as if the clutch was giving up. Crawled home and called the engineer. First guess was that the hydralic pump had died. Stripped down and found lots of debris in sump , filters were full of rubbish etc . One of the hand brake discs had disintegrated. Cleaned everything out, put in new filters, strained oil and reassembled. It was probably worth a try but there was no improvement. Bought a new pump, fitted, along with new filters and new oil, re assembled and yes there is some improvement but she is far from mended. Still no 'bite' on the clutch , no pressure on brake pedal at all ( brakes have been bled ).
Looking for a bit of inspiration now so can anyone tell me what to do next?
