Hi
If your tractor has only the main hydraulic pump Buy a selector valve this valve fits under the seat ,right hand side there is a transfer cap held on by two bolts ,remove the cap and there is the hydraulic stack pipe attached if it comes out with the cap remove it and fit new "o" rings refit the pipe making sure it is in the correct spot to check put the position control lever in transport and crank the engine just a little bit, if correct oil will come out .
Fit the selector valve and take the hydraulic supply from the selector valve to a dual /two spool control valve you should be able to buy from the same place ,if you want to be able to have a constant flow of oil to the cutter buy a spool with a detent hold spool this will allow you to select supply to the cutter without having to hold the lever.
next take a hose from the supply on the other spool and connect it to the front left hand port on the hydraulic lift cover that is the one the seat bolts onto, front left hand corner there is an inhex plug remove it and fit the hose 3/8 npt .
next take the return line from the spool valve and connect to either the transmission oil filler plug ,drill and tap the filler plug 3/8/npt and screw the return hose to this.
There are return ports under the seat on the left hand side but if you connect the return to this there is a chance that the oil will be aerated and the pump will suck in the aerated oil which is not good for anything, best to go to the filler plug.
To operate select remote on the selector valve and move the position lever fully up and the draft lever to up and leave them there operate the cutter with one control lever and the three point linkage with the other,to return hydraulics to normal move the selector valve to tpl ,Easy.
Hope this helps .
