Hey all,, on another thread I described problems with high fuel consumption.Previous owner installed fuel pump to "suck" fuel thru the clogged fuel lines.. I fixed tank and took fuel pump off and it runs great.. I now need to get the fuel out of the oil system. I have drained the oil and will flush it a few times. Anyone have experience with this and what is the best way to get all gas out of oil system??

I'd say a couple short term oil changes, including filters, then go back to the normal service interval. I'd guess tell tale signs of any damage would be noticed as lower oil pressure, due to thin oil through the bearings, and possibly some white smoke later on, from washing down the cylinder walls..

A lot depends on how long you've ran it this way, and just how much gas was in the oil.
