MF #9 Baler needles

I am having a problem with the needles not locking when they retract completely. They just sort of sit there and jump slightly with each stroke of the plunger. Bale length is somewhat random because of this. What/ where do I need to adjust to hopefully cure this before I brake something. I am working alone and can't watch it work as the baler runs.

Found my problem. The knotter brake was in need of adjustment. Tightened up the bolts and it is working well again.

That they are. Put up over 900 bales yesterday and it worked much better. No chatter and only missed tying 6 bales.
