MF FE35 petrol turns over but won't fire

Hello forum members. I am new to this forum and would appreciate assistance please. I have a FE35 petrol tractor which hasn't been used for a year or so. It always started easily and ran well. I've just added a new ignition switch, a new battery, and new spark plugs. It turns over ok but there is no sign of firing at all.

Can someone suggest what I could check next please. My mechanical knowledge is very basic.

Spark Ignition engines that sit unused for long periods have several reasons for not starting: no spark due to corrosion on the points and/or lack of fuel delivery.
So check the points and make sure you have the requisite "FAT, BLUISH-WHITE SPARK" the color of lightning,g and adequate fuel flow to the carb.
