MF GC 2300 Hydro problem

Used my GC 2300 to plough the garden,it worked good untill I was almost finished. Then it stopped spinning the tires. What I do know is that it started all of a sudden. If I rev up the tractor and dig with the loader [low range] it won't spin the tires, the strange thing is if I idle it down it will spin the tires. Not sure what happened because it was working fine one minute and the next not. Wondering if a relief spring or something like that let go or broke. When I try and dig with the loader now and rev up the tractor 1/2 throttle the tire's won't spin.If I rev it higher and step down hard on the pedal the motor start working [blows black smoke] but won't spin the tires,also the pedal won't return to neutral under a load. Any ideas other then pull the hydro out and tear into it.

Hdros don't just suddenly quit as a general rule. Could just be a piece of debris holding open the relief valve.

Check under the left hand side of your tractor on the transmission. There is a metal pipe with a 90 degree bend and then a short piece to straight rubber hose connect to another pipe. Make sure the pipe isn't bent or pushed up where its closing off the flow. My GC2600 did the same thing and that's all it was. I just pulled down on that pipe with the 90 degree elbow and it fixed it. I'll see if I cant find a diagram of it.

Scroll down on the left hand side to.....the first Transmission-main piping (1-2) and it should be figure 2,4,8. Mine was kinked at number 4 and it wasn't pulling enough fluid at high revs but would at low revs. Hope this is the problem
