Last weekend I removed a large stump about 2 feet in diameter. Was so easy, what i did was got a feel for where the large root systems were and used the combination of bucket curl and teeth chipping away from underneath the large roots around the stump. That bucket curl is sooooooo strong.

Absolutely! Just be careful -- it WILL tip/pull the tractor over if you get the wrong angle, it's that strong! (Don't ask how I know this.... :ashamed:)

Yes it did lift my front end a foot of the ground with ease.

The post that keeps on giving! I just bought a 2009 GC2410 with 400 hrs. About to do a refresh on the hydro and wondered about needing to take the tire off. Looked like it would come out, but more comfortable with the wheel out of the way. Glad it's not a must. And where is the thread on the metal shards? I'm also curious about the state of that filter...

You know-I was wondering about this, some report metal shards in the screen-I have never had that issue but....I wonder if the metal shards come from engaging the differential lock while the wheels are spinning? Just something to ponder...
