Thank you! What would the longevity of an Iseki Vs. Yanmar be in these SCUT's? Iseki better than Yanmar?

Good morning-

So I spoke with the dealer where the GC1715 was purchased and he said no problem with the transfer, so I pulled the trigger on it. Only has 72hrs on it and the 50hr service was done at 49.5hrs and ended up paying 13K with a mmm and FEL.
The only thing I am not keen on is the entire sitting area shell (wheel wells, etc.) is thick molded plastic. Something I had not realized before. I am not sure on the durability of that but the rest of the tractor is very well built. I liked the all metal built of the Max26 but lack of good dealer support in my area was a deal killer. Thanks for all your help and suggestions.

And you made sure that the was no UCC lien filed against the unit?

I am not sure what you mean by that. The dealer where the tractor was purchased at transferred the paperwork from the Previous owner to me. They said it was complete and I am the registered owner. Did I miss something?

Quite possibly. If the previous owner had a loan on it (as I have on my Mahindra), the lender would have filed a UCC form in the state of purchase (as tractors aren't titled), putting a lien on the tractor until it's paid off. Several TBN members have been bitten by this, either losing their tractor (and money paid to the seller) or having to pay again, to get the lien cancelled.
There is a thread on this, it's rather onerous. For most states, you can look up online; I got a copy of my UCC online from Ohio (of course, I'm not selling it!)
Whether the warranty has transferred to you or not has nothing to do with being the owner-in-fact.
