How much are these going for today? The one I'm looking at is at a local dealers. The disks are 17" in diameter, I have no idea what they were new. It's in great shape, I only saw one weld on it that wasn't factory and it was done by somebody that knew what they were doing. It has notched disks in front, again if that makes a differenct. It's also the 8' 10" model, Thanks.

They were available NEW with 18" disc blades. 1" total wear isn't too bad.

The 8'-10" version sometimes will sell for less than the 2 smaller sizes. (More demand for smaller...) THey can be EASILY cut down to 7'-6" if needed.

Around these parts, an average #25 disc will bring $450 to $500. Really good ones bag as much as $750/$800. Not uncommon to see them at dealers in the $900 range.

I got a quote back from the dealer yesterday and he wants $950.00 picked up there. About what you said for a dealers price I guess. From what I've read I might have to get it. I have an old drag behind disk right now so this would be alot easier to use.

If you get it, and you take a notion to down-size it (to 7'-6") let me know. I'll walk you through a simple, no parts to buy procedure to shorten the axles and remove one spool and blade per gang. It took me about 4 hours to re-size mine. I only did so in order to make it narrow enough to haul legally while mounted on the tractor.

You'll be pleased with it. I haven't ever used a 3-point disc that I liked as much.
