Loader MF1020 Loaders?

I have been searching the threads but have not found much specific information.
I am looking to add a loader to my MF1020. I believe the MF1014 loader came with this tractor originally but can not confirm.
I contacted Bushhog today for a loader that might fit, but the dealer was a bit uncertain.
Does anyone know what loaders fit this model tractor?
Who are some reliable loader makers?
Is there a good site to find used loaders? Do you recommend saving a dime on used vs. buying a new one?

Check eBay for your tractor model and you should find several advertisers in the search results. For a cheaper solution, you might want to look up P.F. Engineering online. They have plans for loaders that you can fab yourself, or cut a deal with a local high school shop class to make for you. I have no idea how good the plans are, but you could evaluate them yourself.

Keep in mind if you load the front end, you will have to ballast the back some way. So you'll want to consider how much the loader weighs and how much weight it can carry, then figure out how much weight to add to the back.

I do not know if a 1020 has power steering or not, but you'll probably be glad if you have it. If that's you on the tractor in your avatar picture, it looks like a 4x4 tractor, which probably has power steering.

Deutz Allis 436 Loader is the same for the Massey 1020. If you go on E:thumbsup:bay now there is a 5220 tractor with a loader so you can see what it looks like.

Thanks to both of you guys, that is all very helpful. I checked out the PF Eng and that site is amazing. I am actually picking up a welder this week and need a project to work on. I might have to look into building one. It is about $2k cheaper. Of course the hours could add up quickly but I imagine that is not a factor in a project like that.
