MF135 3 point lifting problems

Changed the oil today in my MF135 just got it couple weeks ago been sitting for years , got motor running perfect and now to the transmission and hydraulics . The fluid was very very thick and white , flushed with diesel and put new fluid in . The 3 point only moves about a 1 up or down . Has draft control and position and with draft in up position the position control lever just moves it up or down . Don稚 know the next step to firgure our what it might be . Any ideas

Adjusting lift is a multi step procedure,I recommend buying a shop manual (you will need it for other issues). Tractor Supply Company has I&T manuals which are pretty good. When you have your manual,look for "standpipe" in parts breakdown. When the fifty cent O-rings on standpipe rot and fall out,lift no longer works. That's a 20 minute repair when you have manual in hand. Adjustment and some repairs are head standers but not complicated. Go ahead and add diesel or gas to tractor description in your signature.

So back at it this morning , went and pulled the cover that is over the stand pipe , stand pipe came off with cover and all looked good no rust on tube and bottom o ring looks good , but the top was stuck to plate so left that and reinstalled and got to sit back down nice . Drained fluid out till I could pull side cover and start tractor to see if there were any leaks or what not , come to find out when I started it the Lift arms raised and lowered just fine . Not sure what I did to fix or if it just has a mind of its own , any thoughts ? Then went and hooked to attachment post hole auger got lower links hooked up and lift still working fine , then hook up center main link and the lift won稚 work now ? Unhook center link and lift works again ? What痴 the next step to fix ?

My massey 255 has a small lever under the seat that has to be in just the rihgt position for the 3 pt to work.

Be carful not to become trapped between implement and tractor if arms unexpectedly move up/down. Unhook top center link from implement but leave attached to tractor for leaverage,make sure draft leaver is in correct position,start tractor,move lift control to raise then push and pull on top link. If pushing and pulling top link causes arms to raise and lower,check manual for adjusting spring tension at top link. Earlier models adjust by turning a large nut with screwdriver or punch.
