MF135 Cont. Water pump/pulley replacement?

I'm looking at a MF135 with the Z-145 gas engine..does anyone know how the water pump pulley and the water pump mate up?? They are sold separately, but the water pump shaft does not appear to have any threads/etc to hook up with the pulley. Are they "pressed" together??? Thanks for any info. BobG in VA

Yep, every one I've see have the pulley press fitted onto the shaft. You need to get a bearing puller the correct size to get the pulley off. Here's the setup I used on my 1951 Minneapolis Moline BF tractor to get the pulley off.

They are press fitted, changed mine last year. A puller would have made it a little easier, I convinced mine off while in a vice.

Edit to my last post, and I'm away right now so can't check my tractor but if memory serves me the shaft from the water pump doesn't extend all the way through the pulley, making it impossible to use a puller. I sprayed penetrating oil into the pulley housing, let it set overnight and with a wooden block and hammer it came off relatively easily.
