I am looking at either building or modifying a loader to fit on a MF35 (no power steering).

I have a few questions:

1) I have seen some with a pump running on a long shaft running in line with the crank. Are those parts available?

2) Does anyone have experience with running a hydraulic pump off of gear or belt from the engine and if so, what configuration?

3) For those running off the lift hydraulics, what valves will attach to the top plate to pull off the flow?

If I have to build the structure, I would really appreciate photos of how various loaders attach to the MF35

Why would you want to put a front end loader on a tractor without power steering?!?!?!?!

Since we do not farm much (feed plots) this tractor's main uses are being trailered to remote locations to clear trails and small openings to maintain our hunting lease. I tend to keep a 5 foot bush hog on the rear. We have been trying to switch between the mower and the box blade but it adds lots of hours to the weekend chores.

The purpose of the blade/loader on the front is not heavy work but more for clearing debris from the trails. Not usually a lot of weight nor a need to do a lot of high lifting. Actually, it would probably end up with a 5 or 6 foot blade on the front as opposed to a bucket.

If there is a better method, I am open to the collective wisdom of the forum.
