Hello again, I am Brand New with how to work everything on this outfit, I know that I posted something in the wrong place eariier, thank you to the person who corrected that for me. I was wondering if it would be OK to put Mobil 1 in this motor. Right now it has 10-40 quakerstate in it. I just got this tractor, and when I changed the oil in it, it was kind of milky, but not real bad. I had one of them real bad feelings, like when you buy a mule sight unseen, and it only has three legs.( never happened). But you know the feeling. The oil is staying the same level on the dip, and it don't smoke, and has plenty of power.,,,,,,,,Also I am use to running D-6 cats on real steep ground logging, and I realize this is not one of them, but the quetion I have is how would one put a roll bar on one of these tractors, not that I will ever quite go there, but it would give one a little more room to see what is really what. I am real happy that I found this forum as now I will not have to visit the electric fence so often and the near counties won't have to plug there childrens ears. For your Help, Thank you,,,,Blackfoot

Back when new, the Z134 gasser would have had sae20 in the winter and sae 30 in the summer.

Better oils that far exceed the standards of those days is available nowdays. a good 10-30 or 10-40 should do just fine. A lot of folks run 15-40 diesel rated oil in old gasser tractors. Diesel rated oil isn't good for catalytic converters (on cars or trucks) but seems to do no harm to tractors.

Yep, I kind of thought that the 10-40 was good enough. But with the new oils coming out, I wondered if there was maybe some other advantages I was missing. Thanks Todd
