MF461 price

Dealer gave me a quote on the 461 with ag tires: $24,675
plus Quicke Q25 loader installed: $6345

He said there's some wiggle room there. How much wiggle room can I get? And is the Quicke worth it or should I go with Massey loader?

Hey,

I would go with whatever loader you are going to be happy with. Me, personally I would go with the ALO Quicke. They are one of the best loaders on the planet. Don't be afraid of them. Quality is second to none!!

I was quoted roughly the same price for a new 471, four wheel drive, shuttle shift, independant PTO. I would say the price he quoted you is pretty steep for a 461.

Thanks for the update. I'll have to shop around a bit more. I'm actually kind of smitten by the 481 Low-profile. I think I saw one at the Massey/Kioti dealer on US 25 north of Greenville, SC. I'll have to stop next time I run through there.

The quote you got on the 461 is too high. Outdoor Power Equipment (www.outdoorpowerequip.com) is advertising one on the web for $22,600. Montgomery tractor (www.montgomerytractor.com) is advertising one for $22,250 with a loader for $4750.

RAW... I went shopping today and the local MF dealer quoted me $27m for a 451 w/FEL. I think that is very high. I'm assuming yours was also a 4WD. He did want to sell me a lease return 471 4WD w/shuttle and FEL for $26m. I think the 471 is way to big for what I need, which is why I'll probably go with the 451.

Yeah, the 461 I got priced was a 4wd. And from what I've heard here and found elsewhere, the price I got was a bit high (by @ $1500+).

I'd shop elsewhere if I was you.
