MF 4707
Frustrated with my loader and mounting. 230 hours and all the bolts are loose, again! According rep was here yesterday and said it was neglect, guess I am supposed to crawl under the tractor to check the bolts on the transmission housing every day. Including the ones between the fuel tank and the transmission. I bought a new tractor so I wouldn’t have to work on it every day just to feed cows. Boy was wrong. Even the bolts for the front guard are loose and falling out. A total of 20bolts so far. Very dissatisfied with assembly. Now they want to replace transmission housing, front axle assembly and whatever else they may find on my dime. With that many assembly failures it should be a warranty issue. Oh, and the third function wiring melted last winter and shut down the whole tractor, and was never hooked up or used! All I here is they have never heard of these failures, mine is the only one. Funny, I see these very issues posted here.

What year is your 4707? Mine is a 2022 and all of my bolts have white paint across the head, and what it's attached to. I can see that none of them have moved by just looking at them. Maybe it's just a matter of time until that changes, but so far, I'm very impressed with such a small thing like painting the bolt heads to make sure they haven't moved.

My tractor is a 2022 model. By the way, you have to check the bolts behind the exhaust and between the fuel tank and transmission. They are also part of the mounting. Nothing like laying under the tractor with a flashlight and wrench every day to keep a new tractor operating.

It is not uncommon for new bolts to back out. After some use torquing back to spec is normally a part of the maintenance schedule. Painting marks like Eddie has helps keep an eye on things.

Not sure I understand the melting wires on the 3rd function though. That one does not sound correct at all as no power should be there without activating the switch.

I'll have to look in those areas. I'm hoping to do my Spring filter change pretty soon and I'll be looking for issues when I'm doing this.

My loader bolts go loose too. Just put red Loctite on them. Fingers crossed. Green is next
