mid 90's gas powered Cub Cadet - any owners?

I recall seeing a scut/ut sized cub cadet that was gas powered. I was shocked to see a carb and spark plug wires on a 'new' tractor.

Any owners of this model here.. and uh.. what model is it anyway.

How do you like it?

Since I collect old stuff.. and most are gassers.. it might be nice one day to add a more modern tractor to the fleet to do some small chores.. and a gasser would be easy to work on.

Early on in my search for a replacement for my B7100, one of the dealers had a Cadet a little bigger than the Kubota that was powered by a Yamaha V twin. I tried it out, and it somehow didn't seem like a real tractor compared to the low revving diesel in the Kubota so I passed it by. I seem to think it was a 6000 or 7000 series, but I sure wouldn't bet on that.

I know at least one of the 5000 series is a gas. There used to be two different ones, an air cooled Kohler and a liquid cooled Kawasaki. I think the liquid cooled was discontinued. I've seen a lot of negative comments on the 5000 series Cubs that are built by MTD. There are also some that have had good luck too... but I don't think anyone on here has a whole lot of hours on their machines.
