Morning guys, Ive a JCB 327 (which is TYM 273) with a mid mounted 1500 mower deck. I bought it second hand and have gone through it servicing everything. I replaced the transmission case sump bung as it was all mashed up (using JCB part) and once i started using the mower i found the reason why....
The mower deck pto drive fouls the bung when the deck raises - either when hitting high ground or if raised using hydraulics.
My reckoning the way to fix this is a flush fit sump plug (cant find one) or a narrower diameter pto shaft or is there another fix?
