Mid PTO

Just from curiosity... Does anyone have a picture of their mid PTO?
While doing my oil change I happened to look at where the PTO would be and I think I have one. But I didn't think I had one. At least it was not listed on the sale of the tractor.

If anyone can help with a description of what it should look like that would be great.

I'll post one if I can remember to get under there.
The tractor is the T2334.
I got a good deal on it and didn't have a need for the mid PTO so when the dealer said it didn't have one I never looked. At least not until I was under there changing the filter and such.
I need to take the cover off and look closer. It has a metal cover similar to the plastic one that covered the rear PTO when I bought it.
Looks like a duck and sounds like a duck...?

Ya that looks like a mid pto to me. I wish i had one on my 2844 for a front mount blower. I think you have to take the metal cover off to uncover the shaft, but it might just be a cover and you might need to just buy the gear to install and some electrical and you would be good to go. I think there rated at 2100 rpm for speed.

Thanks. It does look right. I need to know if there is anything I need to install or not. I don't have any mid mount attachments but it is nice to know it I'd there.

Funny that the bill of sale specifically states it is not there. I wonder if I got someone else's machine?

Well i would pop the cover off and see if there is splines. If there is splines then you have to make sure it works with a switch. Then it would be good to go.

Ya i bought mine from them too. Good to deal with for the most part, just a ways away from me.
