Middleburgh, N.Y. Irene Flood Farm

Not sure where this belongs in threads but here it is. I received this video from a friend of mine who lives in Middleburg, N.Y. but was not effected by the flood of Irene. His neighbors who were dairy farmers were, this is there story, I feel so sad for them.

Truly a tragedy. I feel so sorry for the farmers and the entire population of the area. The devastation that occurred shows what a powerful force Mother Nature can be. I wish all of them the best from the very bottom of my Heart and Soul.

Fears were very high that the Gilboa Dam would fail during this natural crisis. God help those folks in that valley if the dam ever does fail, considering the damage wrought without that disaster.

I thank my stars that we had so little damage here East of the Hudson. There were many inches of rain again this week in Ulster, Orange, Greene asnd surrounding counties. We "only" had 3-1/2 in the last 36 hours here.
