Military PA System box??

So I got this old what looks to be a military public announcement box. No PA system just the empty box. It was left in the basement of my house when I bought it. I knew it was there just never really got around to looking in it until just recently.

Anyone ever seen one or know of the value to one of these?? Not looking for a big cash value just thought incase I found someone who has the PA system but no box might be interested in it.

Doesn't appear to have the usual military markings you would expect to see. Maybe used by a private company or local gov agency.
Would doubt it would have much value unless someone was specifically looking for it.
