Miller Spoolmate 200???

Anybody familiar with the Miller Spoolmate 200? Apparently there is a spool gun and a welder by the same name. This is a Spoolmate 200 welder with a Spoolmate 200 spool gun. It's for sale locally and I haven't been able to find much information on the welder itself plenty on the gun. Guy is asking $800 for the setup which includes the argon regulator. Any opinions? This will be for personal use around the farm not in a fab shop.

Honestly, Im not familiar with that model, but its a oldie for sure. Id probably pass on it at $800m, thats real close to the current price for a MM211. And almost halfway to the cost of a Multimatic200 if you wanted something that would mig and stick . Plus that doesnt even cover the china bands or other USA brands like Lincoln .The lincoln 210MP looks real impressive for the price. Maybe ask over on Millerwelds forum.

Thanks, I thought it was a little high for what it was. Just didn't know if I was missing something. That does seem to be an awesome deal on that Lincoln 210.

You should also take a look at Hobart welders, for about 900 you can get a nice 210 amps welder. Hobart welders are made by the same company as Miller and according to internet knowledge they are quality welders.
