Miller Welder Trailblazer 251 Remote Control Switches?

I posted this on the Miller site, but I think there are a larger number of welders on this site also that could help.

I purchased a well-used Trailblazer 251 at an auction. I purchased it for someone in my family who has taken a few welding classes.

I found the operator manual the Miller site. But I am not sure about the remote control toggle switches The manual is not very descriptive in that section.

My guess the bottom remote control switch either turns on the remote or sets the front panel to on continuously without the remote. This one has | on in the upper position.

I guess the top switch with "A/V" in one position is either remote control of the amps/voltage or local control from panel control in the upper position?

But I real don't want to guess. Please let me know if I am right or more on these two toggle switches.

Here is the answer from welding group.

"Right. The bottom switch concerns what was called 'contactor'. In the '14' position - referring to the 14 pin receptacle - the machine is 'cold' waiting for a signal from a remote to tell it to weld. In the 'on' position, machine is 'hot' all the time - as in stick welding. Same for the other switch - either you are using the front panel control only, or in the '14' position the machine is looking for something to be plugged into the 14 pin receptacle. Don't forget, just like an electric tig machine, the remote will take you up to what you set on the front panel - if you set it to zero, the remote will take you from zero to zero .
