Thanks to Jackie at Millonzi, Clyde at Fasse and my Massy dealer Allen I was able to take advantage of the suggestions read on this site.

The combination is better than expected. I was worried that the grapple was going to be too light weight, but after working with it for 8 hours this weekend, I was able to see that it holds up welll to the 33Hp Massey.

The Fasse diverter valve and switch was recommended by Clyde at Fasse. It works very well, howver it takes a little finesse to work all the movements as desired, but it comes with practice. Nice combination.

The 48 inch grapple works very well and is quite strong. I was worried it was going to be too narrow, but you can manuver easily in tight spaces. I think I prefer the 48 for this size tractor. I can appreciate the change in the tine thickness that Millonzi added.

I need to consider building a brush cover for my brush guard. You have to be very careful scooping up brush and branches because they sometimes come in towards the grill of the tractor. If your not paying attention you could spear your grill and radiator.

Overall, with 8 hours on my grapple, I can see that this iis very worth the cost. It is strong and the weight of the grapple compliments the useful loads the compact tractor can handle. You have to keep in mind that this is not a bulldozer or a payloader. If you keep that in mind, then you should not tear up the equipment.

Thanks to the many people that posted comments on this topic that made it easier to get a combination of equipment that will work for me.

Here is the tractor and grapple. I think I want to change the hydraulics from facing forward to be more flush so nothing bumps them.

It might be better if the fittings were moved back a bit but there is an advantage to having the quick connects facing forwards. If you do snag the hydraulic lines they will more likely just pull out of the connector rather than tearing and breaking. I have used my Millonzi 48 agressively for the past three years now including on a 40hp tractor with a very strong loader. I have managed just recently for the first time to tear one of the hoses off the ram ($20 fix) but it is as good an attachment as I have and I could simply not live without it.

I do mostly brush clearing and I put on a used 4n1 bucket I recently acquired to see how it compared. No contest. The 4n1 was pathetic in comparison to the grapple. (I do like the ability to bulldoze with the 4n1 but that is it's only advantage).
