I am purchasing an acreage and part of the purchase includes a 60HP Zetor 4WD tractor and a 7FT Load King snow blower. I have no knowledge of the Zetor product and likely will change it out to a more common brand. Can you suggest what might be the minimum horsepower to properly run the blower in normal conditions? Blowing the 500 FT driveway and using the frontend loader will be the only tasks the tractor will be asked to do.

Thank you in advance...

Glenn

Your 60hp Zetor is more than adequate to run your 84" snow blower. Admittedly the Zetor is not a popular tractor in NA - but don't be fooled into thinking it is no good. In fact these are very good tractors if you can do your own mechanical repairs - good value for your money. If you want to sell you will be surprised at the value it holds - not very much due to being a foreign, eastern European manufacture. Try "Googling" Zetor tractors and you will find a lot of people like them.
