Mirror on a BX2230?

I’m feeling the need to add a mirror to the tractor (added safety), has anyone done this? If you have, were did you mount it, what brand, what was the cost and were did you purchase it?

Also, if you have pics that would be great.

Couple of things that you can do. Put blind spot mirror on your FEL upright. You could go to the local auto parts store and find a substitute/replacement mirror. The old Cj mirrors would work pretty well. Good luck.

I know that Kubota has a mirror package for sale in England from pictures of the tractors, but don't know if it is available in the US. I have learned that many of the products made for the European BX market are manufactured in the US. This picture is from a European BX brochure. Note that the steering wheel and grass catcher are both different than the US version. It has a left side mirror installed....

I may be interested in that Euro steering wheel......
Whilst mowing this past Sat ( /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif ) I had a passing thought on how a telescoping or tilt steering wheel is about all the BX23 lacked inorder to take it to the next level......

Neat idea on the grasscatcher too. Don't have to leave the seat, just use the rear hydraulics to raise and dump the refuse into the refuse pile

I guess Kubota's engr's think we fat Americans need to get off the tractors and do alittle manual labor on occasions....
