Anyone have pics of the sway chains? I primarily use my Tractor with a 4' bushhog, (no FEL) and sure wish I had sway chains to keep the deck from wadding up in my Rear Ag Tires.... As well, I bought a neat 3 pt frame/two position receiver hitch to move trailers, but without a sway chain, you aren't backing any trailers up. Even, I have a new ish Box blade coming to me...

Neither my Mitsubishi nor my Kubota use sway chains. Both use a turnbuckle arrangement attached to the outboard side of the three point arms and then to the tractor frame. Many tractors now use a system fo telescoping tubes. You drop a pin through when you get them where you want them. You could try a turnbuckle in conjunction with your chains. They would give more variation of adjustment.

THANKS. After posting, I consulted my Parts manual, and see the factory set up was just as you described. Only like one or two links and a threaded rod into a ATR NUT, on both sides. Makes sense, the distance is pretty short. The pin shafts let you push the arm all the way inboard with a bushing, then the "linkage". I talked with Bill at VPP about these a year ago, and he relayed he had a local welder make them up as needed, but it certainly is a pair of devices I can fabricate, I just hadn't visualized it before. (Shows you how badly I haven't needed them). Yes, a small turnbuckle will probably work if there is enough distance. And I like stock and OEM, my little machine deserves the love....

He did caution me to not bend the pins, they are hard to come by? I think I will make my chains of smaller stock, so they bend or break first.... I do tend to get hung up inn small spaces.
