Mitsubishi D1450

I am looking for any information regarding a Mitsubishi tractor manufactured in Japan but sold in the U.S (known as gray tractors). It is a Mitsubishi D1450 2 wheel drive tractor. It was a gift from my mom who was the second owner. Specifically, I need a manual that explains how the tractor operates and how to maintain it. It also has a 18 spline PTO that is broke because someone used a steel bolt instead of a shear pin. The PTO replacement is what I need to start with. Would prefer a six spline PTO if possible. It would also be nice to know if any Mitsubishi compact tractors in the USA are a close parallel to the D1450. I know tractorspeak as I own a PowerKing (currently restoring) and a Kioti CK35. If anyone out there can help get me off to a correct start, I would appreciate it.

I have owned one since 1996. The 373 is almost identical except for the pto. 373 has standard 6 spline. The bolt hole in your pto is not for a sheer pin because the shaft is splined. It is only to hold the yoke on. You can get parts and manuals at Valley Power or Japanese Tractor Repair Dixon, IL. The manuals I have cover the 373 and 470.

Thanks Oliver for the information. Mr. Shaffer in Dixon, IL states that the 18 spline pto can be replaced by a 6 spline PTO and the existing cover will fit. Would appreciate you advise and also exactly how the broken PTO is removed and a little what is involved. Thanks, Backporchtom
