Mitsubishi D2350FD - CHG bulb - Service Indicator?

Hello,

after almost 6 years owning it, noticed this orange light on the tractor meter.
It is labeled CHG and sits next to the OIL light.

Is this some kind of service indicator? If yes, how can I reset it?
It's wired up to that "control unit" under the steering wheel, on the left side.


The other question would be if there's any chance to fix the tach meter. As of now, revs are shown, but the counter doesn't work anymore.
I wanted to dismantle the gauge but there seems to be no way to do that without leaving serious traces.

Ooopsss, silly me. That CHG light must be there for the electrical charging.

But how about fixing the tach meter?

I have no idea how to repair your factory meter but I would suggest installing an accessory hour meter. They are very inexpensive and easy to install. It would allow you to track any future run hours and that time can always be added to what the factory meter is showing for total run time.
