Mitsubishi MT372 alternator harness plug

I have an MT372 early 80s. I've noticed the alternator wiring harness plug is deteriorating away. Doe anyone know where I can purchase a replacement or will I have to buy the whole harness. The plug on the regulator is deteriorating but not as bad. Thanks.

ron welcome to tractor by net you live very close to tarrant city call allen goff 205-841-1799 at goffs radiator and electric please take him a couple of pictures of the old harness. he should be able to help you. dont rule out him having to make the end for you if he can come up with a number but cant find it have him give me a call between the three of us we should be able to make this work

JRobyn, I'm going to try to send a picture just to see if I can. I have checked with Goff as suggested by mitch becton and they found a pig tail to fit the regulator but couldn't find the one that fits the alternator. I went next door to an auto parts store and was helped by a nice old lady who said she had been in the business, auto parts that is, for 50 years. She brought out an old parts manual and kept looking until she found a drawing that looked close. She said it was a 1978 Dodge Challenger with a 1.6L engine. She tried to look it up but couldn't find a good picture and suggested I try some junk yards that still had old cars. I was in Advance Auto Parts this afternoon and ask if he had a listing for the alternator for that model Dodge and he did. He also had good pictures. The alternator is identical to the Mitsubishi 372. The regulator is the same to. The alternator had Mitsubishi written on it, so I guess the engine is Mitsubishi. Sorry this took so long but I'm excited to find this out and maybe others can be helped by this information.

Got the pic! Sounds like now you just need to find an old Challenger for a donor.

The picture that loaded is the plug to the regulator. The alternator plug picture didn't load. I'll try again. None of junk yards still have this model cars. When scrap metal prices went up a few years ago they were scrapped. I found out today that 72-81 Ford Courier, 74-80 Mazda B2000 pick up and 72-79 Mazda GLC car also carried this alternator. An alternator rebuild shop in my area hasn't been able to find a new replacement plug from their suppliers either. They think the plug code no. is 130. Thanks, Ron
