I helped some folks move a few months ago and they gave me a 1980 Mitsubishi/Satoh 1510 tractor. This tractor hadn't been run in years, the hydraulics would not work. The gear case was full of water (rubber boot gone from shifter housing) Needed a lot of TLC.
So after I spend about 60 hours cleaning it up, getting it running, sending the hydraulic valve to Valley Power in Roanoake to get the hydraulic valve tuned up and set back factory specs, I sold it on Craigs List for 1500.
Now these people want half and threatening to call the sheriff saying I stole it, that they still have the legal title. This unit was bought in Apple Valley in 1980.
Never thought they would do this and never thought to ask for the title. I have to wonder if one does in fact exist. Did they give pink slips when you bought these tractors years ago, any advice is appreciated.
